You see a beautiful, fluffy dog and what is your first instinct? I need to pet her... on her head? Kora is very aware that she does not want her head touched, unless it's by someone she knows, then she might tolerate it.
Luckily, Kora's first reaction to a head-pet attempt is the dodge-and-weave technique. She simply moves her head down and around so that it is out of reach of the head-petter. This tends to surprise folks, as they expect that all dogs like to be pet on the head. Just know that this fluffy head will move out of your way if you attempt to pet it.
Instead, go for a hand sniff and a trick - one of her specialties is the high-five.
